Yeah! Burger

When I was studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of the most pleasant sounds to my ears was, "We should go to Yeah! Burger!" This hipster burger restaurant is situated in Midtown, very close to Georgia Tech and other universities. Its prominent front porch seating area and chill environment make it a wonderful place to meet friends for casual burgers and beers on a Friday night, or for burgers and cocktails on special occasions. One of my favorite memories is when my friends and I met at Yeah! Burger soon after our classes finished for our last semester. What a way to celebrate!

Although this is a burger place, don't think that it is super casual; Yeah! Burger is the kind of place that you get looking half-decent for before walking through the doors. This is great, because sometimes you actually want to get out of your college hoodie and sweat pants for a while before getting back into the grind of school. 

Don't think that you have to eat meat either! Yeah! Burger has a veggie burger that is amazing, and they seem to be coming out with a vegan menu (please, please, please!). The sweet potato fries are worth the extra cash.

Plus, Yeah! Burger has some great local beers. Make sure to try out Sweetwater 420 while you are in Atlanta; Sweetwater is one of the local breweries that you can actually tour, and they aren't famous for no reason.

So, whether you need a break from studying for exams, or you want to experience the hipster Atlanta that everyone is talking about, Yeah! Burger is the place to be.
