Day 11 in Antwerp: a summary
So yeah, I did it. It was an odyssey. I found a room, landed, and took the first train to arrive at Antwerp.
Were eleven days and I have to say, the place is good. I live in Sint-Vincentius Straat and it's very peaceful, maybe because the hospital is so close, or because of the Jewish people who won't bother you anyway. I'm a little away from shops and stuff, but I got a subscription once a month, to the public transport, so it's fine - I can't ride a bike is one of the most embarrassing things in my life, so thank you, De Lijn! Also, I have nine housemates, and I was lucky enough to meet a super nice girl who lives beyond the corner and later became a great friend of mine; that means that solitude really not a thing, although the chance to spend part of my day alone was in fact an excellent perspective when I first applied for an Erasmus program... But anyways. The centre of the city is very beautiful. I can't wait to visit it. And I have my orientation days next Thursday and Friday, so I can't tell yet of UAntwerpen; but I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this.
