What is it like to live in Ankara? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Well it's the capital of Turkey it's nice in general, some people are nice and some are not. You may notice a little bit of rudeness some time but mostly younger people are nicer than the other old people.

Well I hated Ankara at first because I consider it very noisy but I liked it here now.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ankara?

Study. Eat. Go out. Go to home. Study. Sleep. Repeat.

How much does it cost to live in Ankara?

Well. If you live with roommate and you are carefully managing your own money not a lot. I would say 500$ is enough, but it depends on you life style.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ankara? Is there any advice you can give?

Ell yes it's kind of difficult I don't know actually. Hahaa

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Well the food is nice. There are some dishes that you may like and some of them, most not so much. Most food here contain meat so vegans you have been warned.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ankara?

Kizilay, Ankara castle, Cermodern, Etnografya Müzesi.

Is it good to eat out in Ankara? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

OK, there are three places I like because they are cheap. Two located in Kizilay and the third in similar station.

Is the nightlife good in Ankara? Where is good to go?

Kizilay area on general is nice.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ankara?

Be careful guys, some people here want to take your money, they are not actually nice.
