What is it like to live in Ankara? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
living in ankara is like living in any other city in the world the city is not cheap and not expensive as well it has a couple of Stunning views, quite tasty restaurants and in my opinion I recommend it a lot.
What is the student lifestyle like in Ankara?
It's typically like any normal student lifestyle the school's and the universities are vary nice and have a vary good educational system,and there is a lot of entertaining places and malls that you can have fun at,but there aren't a lot of jobs for student except for that it is really good.
How much does it cost to live in Ankara?
The city is not cheap and not expensive as well but for a student monthly 3000TL is good that's a 100TL a day,but for a family it can be quit expensive so maybe
4000-5000TL a month.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ankara? Is there any advice you can give?
to be honest it depends on your country for exaple I am Libyan and as you may know the Libyan Attaché isn't in the perfect state so when I Apply for accommodation it takes a whole month to get a response, so basically it depends on your country.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food here is ok it's not the best and not the worst there are a couple of amazing restaurants and a couple who sre not so tasty but mostly it is vary good for example the lahmacun is vary tasty here you can try everywhere there is literally a restaurant in almost every street food.
What places would you recommend visiting in Ankara?
1. Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
2. Anitkabir (Atatürk Mausoleum).
3.Discover Ulus' Roman Remnants.
Is it good to eat out in Ankara? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
yes most of the restaurants are delicious especially if you go to Kızılay the food there is vary tasty there are a lot of restaurants there next to the streets that are close o the Kızılay mall.
Is the nightlife good in Ankara? Where is good to go?
yes the nightlife in ankara is literally amazing there are a lot of clubs and bars who's party is vary sick so yeah I would recommend it a lot.
What advice would you give future students heading to Ankara?
study the Turkish language, it's not like you can't live without it it's just that it will be vary helpful in a lot of situations and places.
