yes,it is difficult and quite expensive.Dorms are easier to get.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

food is good,but it is too oily.doner and durum and beklava.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ankara?

Ankara castle,guven park,Romania ruins,Atakule is merkezi.

Is it good to eat out in Ankara? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes,bigoz in kizilay,McDonalds,starbucks,the restaurants in ulus.

Is the nightlife good in Ankara? Where is good to go?

yes,it is lively at night in kizilay.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ankara?

Quite expensive ,you have to register your phone within 2 months of arrival to Turkey but great place to study at.It also has good universities like odtu and Bilkent.
