Ankara is a pretty cool area. people minding their businesses. the only thing about the people they like asking too many personal questions

What is the student lifestyle like in Ankara?

kinder boring, coz most Turkish students are some kind of naive and hardly socializes with foreigners. i don't know if they got inferiority complex or is it language barrier. can't say exactly whats the cause

How much does it cost to live in Ankara?

Ankara is pretty affordable city. with $500 you are good to go every month but depending on your spending habits

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ankara? Is there any advice you can give?

not so difficult except some owners don't wanna rent out to foriegners or students. but generally accommodation is not hard to find in Ankara. ranging from dormitories to homes

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

great dishes in General. i will go for Kebab, iskender etc

What places would you recommend visiting in Ankara?

Turk Hamami, AnitKabir, ankapark etc

Is it good to eat out in Ankara? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yea much places are clean and you can comfortable have food and some tea

Is the nightlife good in Ankara? Where is good to go?

night life kinder quiet except you meet the right people who will take you to the right places, BUT avoid Casinos and pavyons they will rip you off ya money. you can go to passage, Kite kinda cool joints for the weekend

What advice would you give future students heading to Ankara?

go Be yourself and live your life, meet more foriegn students as they have the same view point as you and explore Ankara and why not other cities like Istanbul Antalya Izmir, Bodrum etc
