Why did you choose to go to Ankara, Turkey?

I choosed ankara because the level of teaching is great.And ankara has the best universities.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship is one semester.
The money of scholarship depends on the country you come from,because is not the some amount.But Ankara is very cheap and i think the scholarship can cover the expensives.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ankara?

Ankara is not known for party's or a night life.But are some places mostly Kizilay the center of the city which can be an option for students

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ankara to other students?

Yes i would recommend.

What is the food like?

The food is super delicious.And is very cheap.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ankara?

Not that much. I stayed one month in doormitories and i moved to a flat. And there is a Facebook group where you can find a flat. SO its super easy.

How much does it cost to live in Ankara?

Ankara its not expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Every university has courses for language and its for free.So you can learn the language in one semester not that difficult.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ankara from your city?

From my city i came whith plane its shorter than whith bus..but buses are more economical.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ankara?

I would recommend Kizilay or Bahcelievleri. Both of them are full of people and have some great bars.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ankara?

For eating every place is great i dont have any special restaurants .But every place makes great food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

In Ankara there are a lot of museums and a lot of parks..but other cities are near to ankara so you can visit a lot of places

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ankara in the future?

They should be prepared for dealing with a lot of documents and the people that work in offices are not very polite with forigners and they try to trick them to get more money.
So they have to be careful and its better to have someone who knows the language with them
