Why did you choose to go to Ankara, Turkey?

I was curious about Turkey. And some of my Turkish friends are from Ankara so was easy to decide, also prices in Ankara are lower.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have been 4, 5 months, I got 400€ per month so was really enough. Room cost me 100€, food is very cheap.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ankara?

In Turkey students life it has place in the university campus, you can spend time outside in a big green university area or in a coffee place, or choice a lot of activities like tennis, football, etc.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ankara to other students?

I would strongly recommend.

What is the food like?

Very good and fresh, low prices.

Healthy food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ankara?

No, it was easy.

How much does it cost to live in Ankara?

250-300€ maximum with rent.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I had Turkish course.

A lot of students speak English and they are very helpful.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ankara from your city?

It's easy to transfer, I took a plane.

It cost 80€ with luggage.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ankara?

Some pubs in 7th street.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museum of Anatolian civilization.
