The scholarship is around 800 euro's for the whole semester.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ankara?

There is not a typical student lifestyle. But as an Erasmus you make a lot of trips, party during the weekend and go to school during the week.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ankara to other students?

I am in Bilkent university and I would definitely recommend that.

What is the food like?

The food is good! Turkish food is not always healthy but it is definitely good. But of course if you live on your self you can make you own food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ankara?

I found my accommodation with the help of a real estate company, but you can have a shared room for free on campus.

How much does it cost to live in Ankara?

Living for me cost around 550 tl. Food in restaurants is cheaper than in Europe but in the grocery shop it can be more expensive.

Having a sim card is cheap but products like sunscreen are expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

In my university you have language courses. I recommend to follow this since Turkish people outside the university don't speak English.
