One of the most wonderful features of this corner studio apartment to rent on Calle Lagasca is the little dining area solarium. It’s the only space bringing in natural light, but with large windows that open out toward the street, it’s a beautiful little nook where you can eat breakfast or share a romantic meal. The apartment itself is compact, but nicely furnished with a double bed and a dresser, wardrobe, cabinet and TV setting it apart from the equipped kitchen. A sofa with tables and even more storage is beside the 2-seat dining table, and in front of the sleep area, and in the bathroom, which has a shower stall, you’ll find a washing machine.
Salamanca is an upscale area of Madrid, and you need only take a walk through the neighborhood to realize it. There are upscale shops and designer label boutiques everywhere. You’ll also find a healthy number of restaurants serving up everything from Mexican and Japanese to Catalan cuisine. There is an El Corte Inglés just 3 minutes away, and although it's a department store, it also has a supermarket. You’re only a 10-minute walk from El Retiro Park, but if you want to get exercise, there are also three different gyms and health clubs nearby.
