Warsaw is an interesting city with different people and most of them from Slavic countries. The first reason why people come to Warsaw is study. Studying in the country which belongs to the European Union means a great opportunity to get employed wherever you want. Surely, you might be employed without EU education. But it would be much more difficult. And this is a good offer, for those who are not from the EU. Thus, I entered to Polish school Vistula University.

How does Vistula University look?

It is worth to say that all places and rooms are modern and clean which make the University very attractive.

The dining room of my University looks very modern and colorful. This is the place, where students and teachers can have a wholesome dinner. Mainly, there are Polish, Spanish, Portugese and Turkish cuisines. By the way, there is different cuisine every week.

Do you like any student programms?

There are many student programs, sport sections, courses and recreations. The most useful is library. This is the place where you can get ready for any subject. I was getting ready for my thesis work. I spent quite much time and succeeded in it. I should say it helped me a lot. Anyway, the library is very useful place for study at Vistula University.

Apart from the library, there is good-working sport section. In fact, it functions very well. You may experience with: football, rowing, volley-ball, basketball, chest and many more. As far as I concerned they have developed rowing. Last year, my friends went to Torun to participate in competition. They did not win, but enjoyed the town.

How does teaching go?

The most important this is teaching process, because it is going brilliantly well. Teachers are always in a good mood and helpful. In case something is very difficult, then they explain. If it is not enough time to learn some material, then the teacher gives more time. Likewise, any test or exam can be postponed. Teachers are always helpful with these. Moreover, the Dean's office is quite helpful, too. I had problems with faculty and did not know where to apply, then they quickly helped me and solved the problem. They are real life-savers.

Are you a foreigner?

For those who are not Polish or do not speak Polish language well, then there is an international office. International office is the place where officials of Vistula University help foreign students with any kinds of problem, relevantly studying. In addition, they speak many languages, including multi-ethnic language English. Also, they can help with cheap accommodation or hostel which is strictly for students. The interesting thing, that the office has a department of Erasmus. For those who do not know Erasmus works with the EU countries. You may either study or have an internship. By internship, I mean work in other EU country. This kind of internship concerns your field. Besides, this is quite worth for future.

How did I start my experience?

The beginning of my experience was starting with Polish courses. Different people from the Eastern Europe came over to study Polish language. In fact, several of them study in Vistula University. I signed to Polish courses by myself, because I did want to study another foreign language to understand Polish people and simply be more intelligent. However, there were not only young people and not only studying. I met people who wanted to study Polish in terms of business or just out of curiosity. I come from Ukraine, which means Slavic country; therefore Polish language was not a big deal for me. For Slavic people, it is easy to study some Slavic language, because languages belong to the same family.

I entered to Vistula University in 2013. The university is located in Warsaw at Stoklosy stop. Now, I will tell you about Warsaw and University, in few words. As for Ukrainian, I was not surprised by Warsaw. Although, the city is interesting and unique but post-communistic spirit does not impress very much. The building of the school is quite huge with dozens of faculties and fields. My faculty was Tourism and Recreation. I met there people from different countries but most of them were from Ukraine. Everybody was striving to study and want to explore the European Union as much as possible. We all became friends very soon.

Eventually, I should say I am lucky that I had met such good and easy-going people at the University. Other than that, if you are looking for a good University then Vistula always welcomes foreign students. And I do recommend you this University.
