What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?
I have no idea, I'm not a student, but I can imagine it has a lot to offer.
How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?
It's becoming more and more expensive in recent years, but it's still relatively cheaper than the western European cities. Renting a place is the major cost, especially in central parts of the city and with good standard. You may find many options to save money on food and other necessities shopping in malls and markets.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?
I don't think so, but it all depends on expectations, the location, standard of the place etc.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
You can find there all, from vegan, vegetarian and international to a heavy traditional Polish cuisine.
What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?
The Old Town area, Wilanów Palace, ŁAzienki Park and Palace, The Palace of Culture and Science, the Polin Museum, the Chopin Museum. It all depends on one's interests, really.
Is it good to eat out in Warsaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, it is with a wide range of different places. I like Przy3Maj restaurant located in the pillar of Poniatowski bridge.
Is the nightlife good in Warsaw? Where is good to go?
I hope so.
What advice would you give future students heading to Warsaw?
Be open-minded and observant. Absorb the culture, people and everything around you. It's a unique place with a unique history and features.
