What is it like to live in Warsaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Living in Warsaw is one of the best experience that I have had. Warsaw city is not only beautiful, friendly and clean, but also easy to live in. Polish is very kind and amicable although the population is quite old and not speak English very well.
What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?
Generally, students studying in Europe have a day off on Saturday and Sunday so they can go to the market to buy foods and household goods, discover the hub city of Europe with modern transportations such as bus, tram, metro; gathering with their fellow-countryman; taking part in some free classes (studying Polish) or joining in clubs at school.
How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?
Polish use their own currency as PLN or złoty (1 złoty is around 5,700VND). It will cost you about 1000-1500zł/month depend on how you spend money included accommodation (dorm or shared room/flat), bills, foods and some outside meals.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?
It not really hard to find an accommodation to live in Warsaw if you have useful tools like Facebook, just search "Accommodation in Warsaw" and you will see almost things you need or you can contact the school to rent a dorm if you want to be safe in the first period.
What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?
First of all, the Palace of Culture and Science is a wonderful place to visit if you want to know about the history of Poland. The another one is Old Town with ancient but very colorful and beautiful houses and many churches with unique architecture allocated around Warsaw.
What advice would you give future students heading to Warsaw?
Just stand up and go because you are young, wild and free.
