What is it like to live in Warsaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Warsaw, the capital of Poland is a big city with a lot of place for entertainment many nice cafes, bars and restaurants open till late. Prices depends of the place but rather suitable for students. Cinemas, theaters have a students discounts. Public transport at good level rather safe city. As every place to stay is has pros and cons but I do recommend to do an exchange program here good level of libraries with a good quality books. Many concerts and cultural events happens during especially September till Spring time.

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

As I mentioned most clubs and all cinemas and theaters have an students discounts also for the public transport.

How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

An average cost depends of the choice of way of living and spending free time but regarding the rental issue it's better if You rent a flat alone. Lower costs.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?

No there is a lot of people who rent their apartments or studios for students.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We have every kind of food as my favourite is Italian and Mexican cuisine.

What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?

Old town, parks as Łazienki, Wilanow area Vistula river area with plenty of clubs and bars to spend a nice time there.

Is it good to eat out in Warsaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, it's fine many bars just for students with good prices with homemade meals. My fovourite type of sports activity is swimming.

Is the nightlife good in Warsaw? Where is good to go?

Good many concerts and local events in all Warsaw, as I wrote Vistula river area and old town, some good places on the outskirts of Warsaw also.

What advice would you give future students heading to Warsaw?

Be positive, Polish people really like to make a new friends open minded.
