What is it like to live in Warsaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Warsaw is a beautiful city filled with spectacular sights, culture, history and food. Living in Warsaw is a wonderful experience and it is a perfect combination of modern and old world.

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

Nice and relax. A lot of parties, of course. :P

How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

Roughly 1200 zloty per month (living in student dorm + daily expenses).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not difficult at all. However, it is difficult if you want to find some cheap accommodation. The rental is at least 1000 zloty per month (not very sure) whereas in my country, it only cost 200 zloty.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I have been exposed to some tasteful traditional food like smoked cheese, sausages and pierogi (it was like a Polish version of Chinese dumpling and it tasted great). And my favourite dishes is various type of sausages.

What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?

Old town, no doubt.

Is it good to eat out in Warsaw? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Absolutely. There are a wide variety of foods in Warsaw. My favorite spots is Ankara Kebab near University of Life Science (SGGW) because it's within walking distance, the price is cheap and the food is delicious.

Is the nightlife good in Warsaw? Where is good to go?

I didn't go out at night during my stay so i have no idea what it's like.

What advice would you give future students heading to Warsaw?

For student who is heading to Warsaw during winter time, bring more clothes and moisturizer. I technically became a Poker Face because it's too dry that my face can hardly move a muscle. And the winter could be very hard too...
