How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

Prices for renting a room are between 150-300 euros, for the small flat it's 300-450 euro. Poland is quite cheap in general, I would say that monthly income of 500 euro is totally enough for the student.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?

There are not many English websites to looking for a flat in Warsaw, I know mostly Polish ones (Gumtree.pl and Gratka.pl), but there are a lot of Facebook groups like 'Erasmus in Warsaw', 'Warsaw students accommodation group', 'Warsaw accommodation' or 'Roommate and Flat Finder, Warsaw, Poland' are very helpful with that.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I think that the best restaurant to eat traditional Polish food is Zapiecek. You can try dumplings (pierogi) there as well as polish sausage, 'bigos' or traditional polish soup- 'żurek'. Dishes are just delicious, good prices, nice home-atmosphere and lovely waitresses. I take to Zapiecek my every guest from abroad, everyone was pleased and fell in love with this Polish food.

What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?

Museum of Warsaw Uprising is number one of the list and I recommend you to go on Sunday because it's free. Although museums sound boring to many people, this one is completely different thanks to its modern style and interactive exhibits. Great way to learn basics of Warsaw history in a relaxing way.

If it comes to party I totally recommend place called Pawilony next to Nowy Świat street. Some people compare this place to Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter movies and I think it's a perfect comparison. Truly magical place, when you veer round from the sophisticated street of Nowy Świat to the small area full of young people having fun, laughing and drinking beers. A visit there is obligatory!

And the beach next to Vistula river on Praga district. It's obvious... beer, sand, water, just sit and relax.
