What is it like to live in Warsaw? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is vibrant & dynamic, it's pretty small, everyone would find something to enjoy though.
Huge amount of green areas make it even more friendly, lots of sport facilities gives you active time and plenty of spots by the river bank allows you to spend unforgettable time

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

Parties, free outside movie screenings, festivals, cheap bars and restaurant allow students to make the most out of their stay in Warasw! And who knows- maybe moving in to Poland is worth considering as well!

How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

not much, even pln 2000 is enough!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Warsaw? Is there any advice you can give?

It could be a little bit hard to find accomodation for foreigners as not all the Polish people speak English but it's not impossible though
There are websites for Erasmus students looking for accomodation and active ESN network to facilitate your stay

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is diversed and delicious- suitable for every taste, regardles if it is vegan or vegetarian or gluten free diet

What places would you recommend visiting in Warsaw?

For new commers I'd recommend to see the main tourist attractions first and then go deeper inside the city, for example to have a grasp of the old Praga district or old Żoliborz or beautiful forests in the outskirts of the city

What advice would you give future students heading to Warsaw?

Be open minded and freindly- always works ;)
