Why did you choose to go to Warsaw, Poland?
ı am here in framework of KA1 Erasmus exchange programme, i am studing international relations.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
The scholarship is just for one semester and i recieve 300Euro/month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?
life is very enjoyable in Warsaw there is always an event.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?
yes definetly, University of is wonderful and one of the quality Universities in Poland and at the same time you will enjoy life in Warsaw.
What is the food like?
The food is good you can find almost everything you want and there is also a special polish cuisine.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Warsaw?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?
it is about 200 euro.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language is not that easy to get to grips with but there are many posibilities to learn because there are courses available at the University.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?
Only by plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Warsaw?
if you like crowded places, there are plenty of clubs, and pubs in Warsaw, and you can also go for a walk at Lazienki Park.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Warsaw?
yes there are different kind of restaurants such as kebap king, Emir kebap because i love eating kebap and there are İtalian, Latin Amercan and national restaurants with you test different food from different countries.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Lazienki Park,Palace on the Isle, Old Town, Palace of Culture and Science, St. John’s Cathedral, Market Square, former Jewish Ghetto, Wilanow Palace and so on.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Warsaw in the future?
if you need to enjoy your sudent life, come to Warsaw but don't forget to bring your thick clothes becouse it is very cold in winter.
