Because it was on the list and cheap
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
400 euros per month, duration 5 months
What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?
Excelente, open and very entertaining
Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?
Apsolutely
What is the food like?
traditional food is great but not so cheap as i tought, but kebab, chineese and other "world known food" is delicious and affordable and very very cheap
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Warsaw?
A lot but because i was unprepared
How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?
It is apsolutely cheap acording to my country and my country is poor acording to United Kingdom or France ( i am Cratian) about 600 to 700 euros per month would do for everything that is needed ( dormitory, going out, public transportation tickets, food,..)
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
A lots of language courses are avilable .... it was easy for me because i am native Slavic speaker, but students generally form non western European countries learn better and try harder, students form India, Pakistan, China etc.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?
Metro, bus and tram
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Warsaw?
In Nowy Swiat street in general but there is lot of clubs , bars etc. i especially liked Hustawka which is a bit hidden
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Warsaw?
Kebab and Co Tu bar in Pawiliony:)
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Muzeum Narodowe, Chopin house and Jewis memory sights
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Warsaw in the future?
