I did not choose Warsaw, but fortunately I ended up in this amazing place! I couldn`t have asked something better!
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I don`t receive any scholarship.
What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?
The student lifestyle here fits all kind of personalities. If you want to party hard everyday you will find places to party and if you want to study the whole weekend you will have company and places to study as well.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?
Yes, for sure.
What is the food like?
Warsaw has great restaurants with all kinds of food, but they eat mostly pork and chicken and a lot of dumplings.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Warsaw?
No, it was pretty easy. There are a lot of groups on social media which can be very helpful.
How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?
I spend approximately 700€ per month (3000 zl). I rented a big flat and I hang out very often so it is not expensive (Warsaw is very very cheap compare to other European cities).
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
NO! Learn Polish is a very hard task, but of course that will depend on your studies.
Yes, there are Polish classes for all levels of Polish.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?
I am from Brazil so the only way to get here is by plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Warsaw?
Warsaw has great clubs and pubs like: Opera, Capitol, Bal, Generator, etc.
