How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I didn't come here on a scholarship, it's my own funding. and as for living costs.
Rent: 1000 zl
Food: 500 zl
Transportation: 270 zl ( Every three months )
Pocket money: 250 - 400 zl

You can probably live with a little bit cheaper, but the rent is rather in the same range for a shared house ( 1 single room )

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

It's beautiful, Warsaw is an amazing city and almost 99% of the people are friendly, there are many places to visit as a student with the friends you will make in your school.
It's very easy to learn the history of the country as museums are very cheap to enter and are open almost all week long.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?

Absolutely i would recommend Warsaw as a city to live in, i do not know about the University of Warsaw as i've not been there or have any friends who attend there

The quality is really good, conservative and more healthy than where i come from that's for sure.
McDonald's is bloody cheap when it comes to junk food

The language is not so easy to get a grip of, but practice makes perfect, and i do believe the courses are available there, yes. Polish course are very good and productive here, i've been to two of them and i've learned alot

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?

Airplane travel was the only way

Old Town is my favorite place. I also like Zloty Tarasy. But since i'm an aspiring photographer, the streets are the best place i can be and enjoy.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Warsaw?

Barn Burger at Zlota 9! It's so amazing! the burgers are huge, heads up!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Palace of Culture and Science, The Uprising Museum, The Art Galleries, Old Town, łazienki królewskie, Ogród Saski and many more!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Warsaw in the future?

Yes! If you're staying there for more than 6 months, get your temporary residence card immediately! It takes atleast a month for the decision to be taken! And it's worth it!
