Why did you choose to go to Warsaw, Poland?

As part of my university course.

How long did you stay there? How much funding did you receive?

I stayed for a year and I received just over 800€ per semester.

What is student life like in Warsaw?

It's great! They go out a lot.

Would you recommend Warsaw to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

I haven't tried the local food yet... it doesn't really appeal to me.

Was it difficult to find accommodation?

No.

What is the cost of living like?

Not expensive at all.

How did you find learning the language? Did you attend any languages courses organised by the university?

Quite difficult, but the basic words are quite easy to learn.

What is the cheapest way to get to Warsaw from your home city?

Plane.

Where do you recommend going out in Warsaw?

The bars in the Pawilony.

What about food? Where are your favourite places?

There are lots of affordable restaurants but the ones in the Nowy Swiat are very nice.

The palace of culture and the old town.

Any advice for future students in Warsaw?

The cost of living is very low which meant that we spent a lot on other things, so watch out!
