Why did you choose to go to Warsaw, Poland?
Choices were very limited.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
4 months. Around 370 euros per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?
It is just amazing. There are plenty of stuff to do, the ESN network is extremely well organized! Parties, cultural activities, trips, meetings and so on.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?
Absolutely yes. I think it's one of the best places for Erasmus.
What is the food like?
It's good, there is a quite wide range of choice.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Warsaw?
A bit, because the university made me know about the avalaibility of the dorm just few days earlier my arrival there, so I had started to look for something on the internet.
How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?
Compared to Western Europe, it is considerably more convenient.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
yes
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?
I don't know, I think the plane. Maybe there is a bus but it takes a lot.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Warsaw?
City centre and all the small pubs.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Warsaw?
There are many!
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The old city centre, the Copernicus Science centre, the top of the Palace of Science and Culture, Praga district, the zoo and so on!
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Warsaw in the future?
Just go there!
