Why did you choose to go to Warsaw, Poland?

Because my friend stayed here in Poland for her Erasmus and she was happy. She recommended me to come here for my Erasmus year. I also chose it because it was cheaper than other locations.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I got enough money for living 5 months. I don't remember the exact amount of money but it was around 1200 € at the beginning.

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

There are a lot of parties and some of the discos are entry-free. Every day there is a new event.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?

Yes, of course. The university is well-organized, so ¡come on!

What is the food like?

There is "pierogi", which is typical Polish food and a lot of different types of soup.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Warsaw?

Not so much. I found an agency on Facebook and they found me the perfect apartment according to my budget.

How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

Here it is much cheaper than Italy (my original country), so I can spend only a few złoty (the Polish money) to live like a queen.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Polish is not easy. It's very difficult but you can learn it in the courses at university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Warsaw?

In Park Club on Wednesday, there is free beer and the entry is 2 €, also the Teatro Cubano on Monday is free.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are a lot of museums about Poland history and some have free entry on Sunday and Thursday.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Warsaw in the future?

Yes, to come here because it's a very beautiful city and really well-organized.
