Why did you choose to go to Varsovia, Polonia?
I had a friend there and found a good internship opportunity.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
It was just for 2 months and I received €1040.
What is the student lifestyle like in Varsovia?
I wasn’t actually a student there but it had a lot of students.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Varsovia to other students?
Of course, I loved it there.
What is the food like?
It has a big variety of restaurants to choose from there. The polish food is also delicious.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Varsovia?
No, it was very easy to find because it has a lot of students there.
How much does it cost to live in Varsovia?
Life there is very cheap in contrast with other European cities.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The Language is very difficult and many people don’t know how to speak English.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Varsovia from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Varsovia?
At Teatro Cubano.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Varsovia?
Otto Pompieri was my favorite Italian restaurant, and also aioli and ORZO in the city center.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
It has a lot of parks and museums worth visiting.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Varsovia in the future?
Try to learn a little polish before you go there, only the basics.
