Why did you choose to go to Warsaw, Poland?

I choose Warsaw because it is a capital, a quite big city. I also wanted to discover the east of Europe and that's why I'm not disappointed of Warsaw. For students, it's amazing ! There is a lot of party, bars,...

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stay one year and France provide me 2000€ for the whole year.

What is the student lifestyle like in Warsaw?

Around 10h of courses per week, going in bars 3 or 4 times per week, partying on the week end, a lot of travel to difference cities, strugguling against the cold.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?

Of course I recommend Warsaw and this university! All the rectorat of the university is really nice.

What is the food like?

The food is very cheap, especially alccohol! Polish food is quite fat, with carbbage, mushrooms, and a lot of meat. But the city is just amazing for vegetarian and vegan people. There are many vegan restaurant, and a lot of choice.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Warsaw?

No, erasmusu is easy to use and my flat is very cool, as well as my flatmates!

How much does it cost to live in Warsaw?

300€ for a nice sharedflat (some are less expensive), and with 250€ for living, it's enough.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Polish is very very hard ! But there are language courses at the university for begginers.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Warsaw from your city?

Bus !

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Warsaw?

There are a lot of bars. But the most cool place is Pawilony : there is more than 30 bars in the same place.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Warsaw?

Zapiecek (very touristic but good), vegan restaurant are very good.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The uprising museum is fantastic and the jewish museum also.
