What is it like to live in Volos? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Probably yes. It's quite a small city and I 'm from a village and that way it was pretty easy to learn Volos. There are 150. 000 inhabitants, city in the shape of a square and every road leads to the port.

What is the student lifestyle like in Volos?

There are many places for the students to go and have fun.

After 22. 30 there are not so many people outside, at the streets, cause probably they are gathered at clubs, bars etc.

How much does it cost to live in Volos?

Around 300-450 euro (including water, electricity, the rent for your home, groceries and cost for going out) and I think you are good to go.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Volos? Is there any advice you can give?

Personally I found my home from relatives, but there are posters at the universities, inside the city and at the restaurant building for the university students.

Is the nightlife good in Volos? Where is good to go?

The clubs are one option (Bedroom, Aperto, White) but it's too crowdy for me to go anymore.

My taste is about rock bars and beers so my kinda place for this situation is Au Bord De L'Eau, small place but awesome people.

After that there are many winebars and places for "tsipouro or ouzo" especially in the area of Palia.

What advice would you give future students heading to Volos?

If you are from a small village you gonna love Volos, and if you are from a city, ha, you still gonna love Volos.
