A lot of tsipouro (traditional alcoholic drink) usually served with sea food for free.

What places would you recommend visiting in Volos?

Pelion. A mountain of Volos with rich history and mythology, a ski center for the winter and a lot of beautiful beaches for the summer.

Is the nightlife good in Volos? Where is good to go?

"Potistiri" is a place for drinking wine and beers or raki and offers for free food( like tapas and more). Also with your drinks you can have as pop corn as you want for free from a popcorn machine. The owners are very friendly and usually only students go there.

What advice would you give future students heading to Volos?

Visit as more places as you can in pelion and also the beautiful islands opossite to Volos (skiathos, skopelos...) and drink a lot of tsipouro with or without anis
