What is it like to live in Viseu? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I love Viseu! The city combines sport, nature, theatre, good food, good weather, really nice people, it's well located (near from Coimbra, Aveiro, Porto). Has all kind of stores, so anything you'll need you just need to ask someone where you can buy it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Viseu?

the students in Viseu every week have a party. The universities are really near dowtown. Viseu only has a bus station, so to make some trips it's better to always buy your ticket early and see previously the schedules.

How much does it cost to live in Viseu?

Viseu it's cheap. An apartment to rend costs about 250. The prices in supermarket are great. The prices in shopping mall are also not that expensive. If you want to eat out you have many options that are economis and really well served.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Viseu? Is there any advice you can give?

Viseu has lots of apartments to rent dowtown.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is really good. But if someone is vegetarian ou don't like to eat meat that much than you'll have to cook at home, because there aren't that lot of options.

What places would you recommend visiting in Viseu?

The dowtown: Rossio, Sé, Fontelo, Palácio do Gelo (it's a shopping mall). If you like to run or ridding bike go to Ecopista/ciclovia.

Is it good to eat out in Viseu? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, there is not that much of variety but you'll be well served. I like Rio Sul, apito do árbitro.

Is the nightlife good in Viseu? Where is good to go?

Friday is a really good day to go out. The students usually start at some bars in Jugueiros and than go to disco (NB, Palhadaço, Ice Club).
