Viseu city is a small, cozy, not expensive, safe and a nice city to live. You live in a small and cozy city, but beside that city also has all things that you need - big supermarket, bars, parks and so on. When you are in city, you don't need to worry about transportation, you can walk everywhere where you need and if you want to travel - Viseu is perfect place, because it is almost in the middle of the Portugal and has transportation to all the other big cities.

What is the student lifestyle like in Viseu?

Student lifestyle is similar to all student life styles :) we have a lot of bars, we can spend our time in the parks, university is not far away from you home and you can travel a lot.

How much does it cost to live in Viseu?

Average is to pay for your room like 150 per month, to have a normal home with kitchen and so on. Lets say that you spend 50 euros per week in the supermarket, and all other things - entertainment, travels - depends on the person.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Viseu? Is there any advice you can give?

I think there is possible to find an accommodation in Viseu almost in every time, because it is not crowded and also, for example, in my university we had a perfect mentors, who helped us so much in finding an accommodation :)

In Viseu you can find all the typical and very delicious portuguese pastries. Pastel de nata!
