Why did you choose to go to Viseu, Portugal?

Portugal is located faraway from Poland and I thought it would be excaiting advenure to go there.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

250E scolarish per month. It was enought to pay the flat (100E) and party (you will find night life realy cheap)

What is the student lifestyle like in Viseu?

There are not so many students as there is only one Univeristy and around 30-40 Erasmus students. There are many parties and events.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Viseu to other students?

yes, great people, cheap town and good place to travel all over Portugal

What is the food like?

Delicious and not very expensive

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Viseu?

no, I found it in newspaper

How much does it cost to live in Viseu?

very cheap in comparison to Lisbon or Porto.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Viseu from your city?

I was traveling by car, but plane is much more faster :)

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Viseu?

Hangar

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Viseu?

do not recall any name of restaurant, but some were good!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Viseu in the future?

If you expect many english classes, do not go. If you expect cheap life and many parties I would recommend it.
