What is it like to live in Viseu? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Viseu is small city but very cute. You can almost all city visit by your feet. In Viseu living very cheerful people and with pleasure help to you when you need a help. Also this city is very safe to live.

What is the student lifestyle like in Viseu?

In university teachers good understand their subjects. Also they understand when students want travelling.

How much does it cost to live in Viseu?

I spend about 235 eur. for month, but I and my two friends rented 4 rooms flat near university and mall. Also we didn't save money on food.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Viseu? Is there any advice you can give?

To found an accommodation for me help my mentor so I didn't have a big problem for that. My advice is try to found students who living in that city and ask them for help.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

My favourite food was bacalao (dish from fish) and galao (coffee).

What places would you recommend visiting in Viseu?

I recommend visit all city because it is small and especially tradition sangria bar "Boquinhas".

Is it good to eat out in Viseu? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Like all students my favourite spot was McDonald. Also it is good to eat out, but unfortunately I don't remember restaurants names.

Is the nightlife good in Viseu? Where is good to go?

Viseu is city for students. In this city is a lot of bars (ciber 3, Hipnotic,...) and 5 clubs (Palhadaco, Ice club, NB). Erasmus students is like family and always going together in parties. We was joked "Everyday is like Friday in Viseu", because everyday was parties.

What advice would you give future students heading to Viseu?

Don't think and go to Viseu!!!
