Experience in Vilnius, Lithuania by Živilė
What is it like to live in Vilnius? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Vilnius is a very green and charming city, full of students and international people. During the warm seasons everyone is enjoying sports like biking, running and other stuff. There are a lot of activities to join and enjoy like concerts, festivals, theater, cinema and more. What you have to bring is only a smile and good mood!
What is the student lifestyle like in Vilnius?
Students are open minded, there are several universities here, the oldest one is Vilnius University which has a library in the old town and a new one at the campus. The students are active and also studious. The weekends are full of activities and trips.
How much does it cost to live in Vilnius?
The students' dorms are not good quality, so most of the students are looking for accommodation to rent. The price is around 200€ per month, the bus ticket for one month is 5€ with student card, the food is not expensive neither. So approximately you need 500-600€ per month.
