Why did you choose to go to Vilnius, Lithuania?

I chose Vilnius because I really wanted to live for a year long into a completly diffent culture.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Well, my scholarship was for one year and I got (thanks to spanish goverment) something like 8000 €

What is the student lifestyle like in Vilnius?

better say, what is the erasmus student lifestyle in Vilnius? GREAT. Trips, friends, parties, multiculturalism....

Would you recommend the city and the University of Vilnius to other students?

It depence. Vilnius is still a very close mind city. I am completly sure it is not a city for some students.

What is the food like?

Awesome. I loved zepellini

How did you find your accommodation?

I lived in a flat and it was pretty cool.

What are the accommodation prices like? What are prices like for other things in general?

It is the third world of the prices... very cheap everything besides clothes.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I did everything in english language but for ERASMUS students you can follow lithuanian courses and they have a nice offers of lithuanian language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vilnius from your city?

It was quite expensive. But now, I can go there by Girona with ryanair so lower prices.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Vilnius?

Woo club, Universiteto and Pachá

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Vilnius?

Any restaurant in Akropolis shopping mall

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Old town

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Vilnius in the future?

Its recomendable that if you want to go for a walk or turism out of the center of the city, go with someone from lithuania. Its quite dangerous city (not in the center)
