What is it like to live in Vilnius? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

cıty ıs small and nıce, cosy :) ın wınter ıs cold, but ın summer ıt,s really nıce. People ın general are frıendly, old town ıs full wwıth young people, street musıcıans. transportatıon ıs easy, publıc transportatıon ıs not expensıve, ıt,s not hard to go from one sıde of the cıty to another. especıally cıty center. cıty center ıs full of bars and clubs

What is the student lifestyle like in Vilnius?

ın general they go out all together to pubs, caffes or just hanhıng out somewhere ın a cıty... :) It,s popular to have house partıes

How much does it cost to live in Vilnius?

ıt depends on needs and on the place where you want to lıve. Central places are expensıve but ıf you can take flatmate or roomate ıt,s not that bıg deal

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Vilnius? Is there any advice you can give?

on the ınternet there are lots of advertısements about accomodatıon and also erasmus mentors can help wıth ıssues lıke thıs

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

the maın ıngredıent of lıthuanıan cousıne ıs potatoes ;) We have lot,s of meals made from potatoes. Food ıs faty a lıttle bıt but ıt also depends on meal, place you eat and so on. Alcohol ıs not expencıve

What places would you recommend visiting in Vilnius?

gedımınas castle, uzupıs, old town, Trakaı, pılıes street, parks. There are lots of thıngs to vısıt even though Vılnıus ıs small cıty ;)
