What is it like to live in Vilnius? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would definitely recomend Vilnius. This city is great for students! Small and lovely town with friendly environment and great parties! Also tickets from Vilnius are quite cheap and students can travel all around the world.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vilnius?

As I already mentioned, you can feee Erasmus spirit here. What is most important lots of great events and fun! Students can meet friends from many countries and situation is really international in Lithuania!

How much does it cost to live in Vilnius?

Quite cheap to compare with another European countries. Even if you have just 500 euro for whole month you can still have great time in Vilnius.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Vilnius? Is there any advice you can give?

No! Its so easy. For example there is Green hotel near the university where students live. Also there is more hotels and lots of dorms! But if you prefer flat, you can rent flat and prices are so nice!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is so tasty! My favorite is Lithuanian national red soup woth potatoes. I also love how they prepare pizza here and more national dishes!

What places would you recommend visiting in Vilnius?

Old town!

Is it good to eat out in Vilnius? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes lots of good cafes, restaurants and bars. For example you can eat very taste and cheap food in la crepe, chilli picca. Calckoe celo and etc.

Is the nightlife good in Vilnius? Where is good to go?

Amazing! Wanna erasmus party? Go i. salento on tuesdays! Also nice clubs arw cocainne, buda, posh, exit and many more!

What advice would you give future students heading to Vilnius?

Study, have lots of fun, do shopping and travel often!
