Why did you choose to go to Vilnius, Lithuania?
I chose Vilnius because I wanted to go somewhere where I didn't know anything about.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I have the Erasmus scholarship, I receive approximately 2000 euros.
What is the student lifestyle like in Vilnius?
Vilnius is a real student city, so there are many things to do.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Vilnius to other students?
Yeah, of course, come!
What is the food like?
The food in Vilnius is like in every European country. For those who are affraid about the food don't worry, there are McDonald's everywhere.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Vilnius?
I live in the student house so is not that expensive (100€/month), but if you are looking for an appartement it will be approximately 300/350 per month.
How much does it cost to live in Vilnius?
It depends of you, but in generally not that much if you are cooking by yourself.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The langue is quiet hard to understand but the majority of young people speak English well.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vilnius from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Vilnius?
Three crosses, Gedimino Tower, clubs etc.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Vilnius?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Lots of museums of history.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Vilnius in the future?
Just come and enjoy!
