Discovering Vilnius

Generally, Vilnius is the destination we go to when we haven't been accepted to our first choice, but it is a city full of surprises!

It's a city where life is simple, it is not expensive and full of Erasmus!

The Erasmus community is big and there are night outs all the time. The city organises many events in Gedimino (the main avenue).

I was staying at a four-storey house, with a sauna, for less than 300 euros!

We have a lot of free time, which allows us to travel everywhere, and there are even trips organised by the faculty in Lapland, Poland or Russia

There are lots of things to do there, the only downside is the weather in winter... But as long as it's pretty out it's lovely!

There are lakes you can reach by bus such as the green lakes where you can meet up with erasmus and have a barbecue!

The streets are very neat and as a girl, I have never been approached in the street (which I appreciate quite a lot)

I 100% recommend this city! The weather can be scary, but you get used to it, the city is prepared.
