What is it like to live in Vienna? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Its is very cold during winter season... among all 5 countries that I've visited it is the coldest.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vienna?

I spoke to my cousin who are a Ausrtrian-Filipino that studying there. He told me that they have a lot of vacation in a year of schooling... That includes a out of the countries tours that is been arranges by their schools... that sounds fun right?

How much does it cost to live in Vienna?

If you have a 30 euro per day, I think you can survive already...

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Vienna? Is there any advice you can give?

Now a days I don't think It's hard for everyone to find a accommodation in Vienna or in any part of European country as long as you know how to take advantage of the internet there is a lot of website where you can find to help you look for a place to stay. Erasmus is one of the example

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I like eat the Large Kebab with Beef and lots of chilli ohhhhhhhh... i can eat that for the whole day...

What places would you recommend visiting in Vienna?

I am a hug fan of Specialty Coffee because I work as a Barista here in Singapore.
If you are looking for a great cup of coffee and cool place to relax and chill. You should go to COFFEE PIRATES... Its is walking distance to Shottentor Station. If you what a good selection of food please visit Naschmarket... i don't know if i spell it right...hehehe I'm pretty lazy to look at google.

Is it good to eat out in Vienna? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes it's is.... always nice to eat out in Vienna but to be honesty , I don't eat much in restaurant what I love is going outside and go to the nearest grocery store .. Take note don't forget to bring you own bag for those star.

Is the nightlife good in Vienna? Where is good to go?

I never experience a lot of night life in Austria, but i do try to visit some karaoke bar.. Austria people love to sing also like filipino. They says there is more fun club activities like party during summer or spring season.

What advice would you give future students heading to Vienna?

Always charge your mobile phone when you plan to go out to have a tour around the city so you can used your map for you to save time of travel from point A to B. Buy in the groceries and stock a lot of food ... Vienna sausages are my favourite. S winter dress a proper winter cloths. Thats all enjoy your adventure in Vienna......
