What is the student lifestyle like in Vienna?

Best days for going out as a student are thursday, because there are not so many 15 year olds around than on fridays and saturdays...

How much does it cost to live in Vienna?

It depends in which district, but between 350 and 600 euros.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Vienna? Is there any advice you can give?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Most typical austrian food is with much fat but of course very good! Wiener Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn you must not miss!

What places would you recommend visiting in Vienna?

Go swimming in the Danube!

Enjoy the great views from Kahlenberg, DC tower and Sofitel, and dinner in the first district.

In the summer months go to City hall place, there is the famous "Film and food festival" from June to beginning of September each year! And in January don't miss ice skating on City hall place!

Is it good to eat out in Vienna? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

In the first district there are soo many great places to eat, but my favourite is still Telaviv Beach at Donaukanal!

Or at Naschmarkt there are also many good possibilities with great flair!

Is the nightlife good in Vienna? Where is good to go?

For students the best area to go out is at Stadtbahnbögen...

So at Gürtel, there are many clubs and bars which are not expensive and good to reach with public transports (U6).

What advice would you give future students heading to Vienna?

Enjoy your time in the most world's best and liveable city!
