I'd recommend the University of Vienna to other students, it offers many interesting courses and seminars.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Vienna?

Finding an accomodation in Vienna was not as easy as expected,
If you want to get the best deal, you should start looking for an accomodation a few months before moving in!

However, I was lucky and got a place in a "home.4.students" Studentenheim: good location near a S-Bahn terminal, only 5 minutes by S-Bahn to reach the Inner Stadt.
I live in a nice double-room with private bathroom, a huge bookshelf where I can store all my books and a spacious desk.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses available at the University: they're not too expensive and could help students who need to learn German.
If you're interested there are also courses to learn other foreign languages..

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vienna from your city?

At the moment, the most economical way to travel to Vienna from my city is by bus.
