Why did you choose to go to Vienna, Austria?
The author I wrote my undergraduate thesis about was born there.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Two semestres.
I got €300 a month for the 9 months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Vienna?
Like no other, Vienna has good public transport connections, there's a very welcoming atmosphere there...
Would you recommend the city and the university of Vienna to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like there?
It's delicious, although it's very easy to find other kinds of food there.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Vienna?
Yes, I'd recommend you start looking for accommodation as early as possible.
How much does it cost to live in Vienna?
€500 a month, more or less.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the university?
The level of German as the university is quite high (difficult), but the language courses there help quite a lot.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vienna from your home city?
By plane.
And to eat in Vienna? What are some of your favourite places to go?
The noodle stalls.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Schönbrunn.
