Why did you choose to go to Vienna, Austria?
I speak German and have wanted to go somewhere where I could use that. Austria has always been an interesting country to me and I've only ever heard good things about vienna.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I was in Vienna for one semester and did not receive any financial support.
What is the student lifestyle like in Vienna?
Very fun and active. There are always things to do and there is nightlife for all different types of people.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Vienna to other students?
Absolutely
What is the food like?
Because it's such a big city there is pretty much any kind of food you can think of.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Vienna?

How much does it cost to live in Vienna?
Around 700 a month including food and transportation and housing.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I already spoke German which made life easier but English is very widespread
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vienna from your city?
Airplane
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Vienna?
Prater sauna, volkstheater
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Vienna?

Endless
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Vienna in the future?
The people take a while to get used to because they are relatively cold and closed off but they don't mean harm! Vienna is an amazing city and make the most of it!
