Why did you choose to go to Vaxjo, Sweden?

I've chosen to come to Vaxjo in Sweden because I wanted to discover another part of Europe. Also, the Scandinavian countries are well known for their education system and the landscapes... So coming to Vaxjo was an opportunity for me to visit the scandinavian countries and also to discover a new culture.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I receive the erasmus scholarship which is around 2000 euro for the year.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vaxjo?

The student life in Vaxjo is amazing. It's a small city in southern Sweden. We have a huge campus with around 30 000 students or more. It's all about parties all the time.

On campus, you have 2 nightclubs and 1 Pub. The entrance to the nightclubs on campus is 60kr (6 euros). You have also more nightclubs in the city, which is at 10/15minutes by bus or 15/20 minutes by bike (which is the most used by students here).

You have a lot fo lakes where you can walk/run around or just sit and see the beauty of the nature. When it's warm, you can swim in some part of the lake.

But even when it's cold you can just walk around, it's really nice to see everything completely frozen.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Vaxjo to other students?

Yes, I would recommend it because it's a really nice experience to live in Sweden. It's probably quite different from where you come from. You'll meet people from all over the world, and that's amazing!

What is the food like?

They have all kinds of food, so you will find your taste !
