Karen’s Experience in Valencia, Spain

What attracts you to living in Valencia? Do you recommend it? What’s it like?

Valencia is a city that combines the old and the new, from the Roman ruins to modern architecture. It is also very rich in culture and gastronomy. In terms of prices, it ranges quite a lot. But if you want to save money you can use public transport instead of a personal car (metro, tram, bus, bike) and eat in cheap places. The metros run approximately every ten minutes and a single journey costs around 3 euros. You have the beach really close and a good climate all year round. In winter it's about 10 degrees and in summer it can reach 30 degrees. In terms of nightlife, there is a huge variety of places and prices (bars, pubs, clubs, concerts, events, popular parties, etc. ).
