What is it like to live in Valencia? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Valencia is really cool, you can have a walk around the city and see so many differents buildings, that you wouldn't believe you are actually in the same city.

I recommend it to everyone, you make friends evrywhere you go, it's easy to go anywhere by public transport. The beaches are great and so the parties.

What is the student lifestyle like in Valencia?

You have classes either in the morning or in the evening, once you finish, you head to the bars to have a beer or you could go to the river for walk with your mates.

How much does it cost to live in Valencia?

As Valencia is an important city in Spain, is not that cheap. But if you go to local stores, you would find good prices. And students have discounts in several places.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Valencia? Is there any advice you can give?

It's really easy to find accommodation here. Wherever you go you will see ads of renting flats.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is delicious if you go to the right places, I mean, not the fast food places. Fish and meat are really good.

What places would you recommend visiting in Valencia?

You should go to the city center and enter in every monument. Also go to all the museums you can go, and to the "Jardín Botánico". And you should walk all along the river, it has a breath-taking view.

Is it good to eat out in Valencia? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

If you have money, you can go to any local restaurant. I don't eat out that much, but in the center they have excellent spots.

Is the nightlife good in Valencia? Where is good to go?

Nightlife with your classmate isincredible! Here people go out on thursdays nights with the class, they have dinner and then they go to any disco or if you're not into discos, you can go to "La plaza del Cedro" or to "El Carmen", you have so many kinds of pubs there that once you go you wouldn't go back.

What advice would you give future students heading to Valencia?

Don't be afraid to ask for help. Visit all the city, meet new people, study and enjoy your stay in Spain.
