What is it like to live in Valencia? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Valencia is the nearest one can get to living in paradise. I have many reasons to say so...

I mean, the weather is great all year round, hot summers, mild springs and autumns and well, I very much dislike the cold, so winter is a bit cold for me...

It doesn't rain much here and the sky is almost always clear and brightly blue.

The city of Valencia is very several mountainous areas in the outskirts and for lovers of hiking, cycling and a wide range of outdoor sports, thus the ideal place to stay!

What is the student lifestyle like in Valencia?

I have no idea to be honest, I am an entrepreneur and haven't studied (so as to say) in Valencia.

How much does it cost to live in Valencia?

That really depends on everyone's budget. You can find anything for a very wide range of prices.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Valencia? Is there any advice you can give?

I wouldn't say finding accommodation is difficult. There is a very big offer on real estate all over the city and the wonderful outskirts. Again, there must be something over here for all of you!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The Mediterranean diet in general is very very good! I have never eaten as good and varied as here. I know, it may sound too good to be true, but it isn't...

I have loads of favorite dishes and many of them stand out. A few of them are: all rices such as paella, arroz meloso (whatever it's made of/with), fresh seafood, fish, esgarraet, the all famous bocadillo de blanco y negro, patatas a lo pobre, patatas bravas...

The list is really endless and I suggest you give it a try yourself! ;-)

What places would you recommend visiting in Valencia?

You've got the typical places of touristic interest, although I would rather recommend people to mingle with the locals. They are very kind and in general very helpful.

Is the nightlife good in Valencia? Where is good to go?

I'm too much of a worker to go clubbing, so you'd better consult others on that matter.

At least as far as places go.

I have done my fair share of going out, so I can only tell there are plenty of venues for anyone's like.
