Why did you choose to go to Valencia, Spain?

Because it is a perfect place for all those who want to explore Spanish culture, Spanish language, party, try out new cuisine and meet new people, and it rarely rains. Also, destinations with beaches are always a good idea.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've received 450€ per month, for 3 months I am spending here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Valencia?

A little bit of faculty work, a lot of partying and spending time with your friends on the beach playing volleyball or surfing, also exploring the town with Valenbisi and visiting as many cafes as you can.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Valencia to other students?

I definitely would because it is a whole new experience.

What is the food like?

A bit spicy and interesting, positively different than Croatian.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Valencia?

I paid €100 to the agency to find myself accommodation near the beach and faculty.

How much does it cost to live in Valencia?

Accommodations are around 300-400€.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

People here don't really speak English so you get used to Spanish quickly, but every university has courses available for you to learn it even faster.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Valencia from your city?

With Valenbisi or with metro if you are traveling a bit further.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Valencia?

Definitely Mia, Aquarella and Marina Beach club, and also all the pubs and bars on the Blasco Ibanez avenue.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Valencia?

I visited Boa beach club the most because it is on the beach and the prices are not that high.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The city of Arts and Science, Llotja de la Seda, Bioparc, Jardin del Turia and all the bridges!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Valencia in the future?

Just enjoy your time here because it will be the best experience in your life and you are going to love it here.
