There is always something going on in the city, you don't get a chance to be bored or to get proper sleep because you just don't want to miss on anything! There are many student parties, tandems, meetings, courses etc.

I definitely recommend Valencia! It became my second home and if there were job opportunities, I would definitely move there!

Food is cheap, tasty, fruit and vegetables are amazing, prices in restaurant are also very cheap, you can easily find a place where you will pay for a 3- course menu less then 10 euro.

I would say that my expenses were around 700 euro per month - accommodation, food, transport, phone and also expenses for parties, drinks and enjoying the city.

There are many courses and language schools and tandems, so if you really want to learn, you don't have to search that hard. Anyway, you will be forced to learn at least some basic Spanish expressions since they don't really speak English, but Spanish is very easy and beautiful language so try to take profit of your stay and learn as much as you can.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Valencia from your city?
I travelled from Vienna with Eurowings or Nikifly, actually the price of the flight depends on the day of the week and on the season and the price of 1 way ticket can vary from 50 - 150 euro.

Anywhere.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
There is amazing Turia park which goes all over the city - perfect opportunity for walks or running or having a picnic, then there is Ciudad de Las Ciencias and Oceanographic - the whole complex is outstanding, mind-blowing and on Fridays you can enjoy live music concerts by Berklee students for free, and definitely visit Mercado Central which you will not leave without buying something.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Valencia in the future?
I don't know if you could choose a better city then Valencia. You wil not regret to spend your Erasmus here. It is not crowded like Barcelona, it has sea, which Madrid does not, there are so many beautiful places in and around the city, it is really cheap and the people are so nice, you will not want to leave at the end.
