Why did you choose to go to Valencia, Spain?

Because it was the cheapest among the biggest Spanish cities

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Three months.

430€/month

What is the student lifestyle like in Valencia?

I wasn't a student, I can't tell then.

(But I was an Erasmus intern, and life was quite interesting and multinational)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Valencia to other students?

Sure I would. It is a safe place to stay, people are warm and you can easily find a way to have fun.

What is the food like?

It was good enough. My favourite dish is patatas bravas (highly suggested)

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Valencia?

I found a place thanks to an agency. I wasn't able to find a place that satisfied me at the time through Erasmusu

How much does it cost to live in Valencia?

350-500 monthly

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes. I went to Valencia without speaking a word of Spanish a learned it on the place. I do not know about University courses, but the Erasmus program provides the OLS.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Valencia from your city?

Flight.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Valencia?

Sure. The city is totally safe.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Valencia?

As I told before, patatas bravas.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There is the Ciudad de las ciencias which is a quite interesting place (but nothing that you cannot find in any other big city). I suggest to visit the central Market and the lonja (old market).
